About The Club
Formed in 1871, the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club (RCYC) is situated in the idyllic waterfront setting of the Greenbank area in Falmouth.
Falmouth has long been a venue for major regattas, and the Club has been instrumental in organising major sailing events since before the Second World War. Large yachts of the J Class visited in the 1930s, and we were delighted to welcome them back in 2012 and again in 2015.
RCYC is often host to international, national and local regattas. Events organized by RCYC in the more recent years include:
