Anchor off or moor on the Ruan pontoon, and dinghy up the Ruan to landing point for footpath to Philleigh.

Thoughts for midweek cruises;
PORTHALLOW for lunch, or supper at the 5 PILCHARDS INN
MEVAGISSEY
POLKERRIS Needs Neaps tide for anchorage off
PORTHALLOW Walk vie Tregaminion to St Keverne for lunch (pub or packed).

Programme ideas discussed for 2023
Other anchor and walk options (a good one day or two relaxed days option) to be developed but Porth Hallow to St Keverne (2 good pubs) is a possibility. Has anyone dinghied up the Ruan to Ruan Lanihorne (to the Kings Head) or the Tresillian River to The Wheel Inn at Tresillian which appears to have a river frontage.

All suggestions and any fun ideas are welcomed, (A description of meandering is ‘Last of the Summer Wine for sailors’, which is another good bye line for ideas)
Alternative long cruise destinations were Fowey, Cawsand Bay, the Dandy Hole on Lynner River, the Yealm, the Earme Entrance (anchor off).

Great talk last night at the club from Jess and Charlotte of Blue River Table telling us the history of 'Tethra' and how they converted her from a Cornish motor launch into a floating venue for an amazing dining experience.#bluerivertable #womenonthewater #whattodoincornwall ... See MoreSee Less
