TALK – Friday 4 November – Sue Kittow
Walks in the Footsteps of Winston Graham’s Poldark
With Autumn nights now drawing in this will be an ideal opportunity to come along and hear local author and freelance journalist Sue Kittow give an insight into her third book “Walks in the Footsteps of Winston Graham’s Poldarkâ€. This talk will not only appeal to walkers but to readers and followers of the BBC’s Poldark period drama too! Sue will explain how she became immersed in the world of Poldark places, the characters and history. All being well Sue will also lead our regular Sunday walking group on one of our walks later in the season.
Don’t forget to put your name on the list in the bar. The Club is open for food from 6.30pm with the talk commencing promptly at 8pm. If you wish to just come for the talk put your name down too as seats are sure to go quickly!
