“On behalf of the Class Association, may I offer all of you our sincere thanks for your hosting of our championships over last weekend. From arrival to departure, the event was well-organised and friendly. Falmouth Docks once again showed us how to get a fleet of boats safely in and out of the water in short order. The Race Officer and all his volunteers gave us excellent courses, kept us disciplined on the starts, and made sure that we had the best of the conditions to race in. Thanks, too, to Port Pendennis for berthing us over the weekend and for making sure that we had sufficient space to raft-up safely on the pontoons.”
“On behalf of both the British and International Class Associations we need to give our heartfelt thanks for the excellent work of both the race officer and the race management team.”
“Such a shame the weather gods did not help, but I think it is safe to say every competitor shared your difficulties in getting racing in place for us. It truly was a most difficult set of prolonged conditions to have to handle. Your continued persistence in trying to get races in, often in the face of adversity was appreciated by all.”
“The racing we had was excellent and your help continues that long tradition we have within the Class.”
“Falmouth will go down as a most memorable regatta.”
“Just a quick note to say a very big thank you for all your help and support this week. Despite everything it’s been a lovely regatta to work on and I’ve had great fun reporting it and working with you all.”
