Information
for visitors
Yachtsmen
and yachtswomen visiting Falmouth will receive a warm welcome
at the Club. They, their family and friends, are asked to sign
the visitors book on each occasion they visit the Club. If you
are in the port for a longer period please complete a temporary
membership form which covers a period of up to fourteen days
Any
person competing in an event organised by the Club and their crew
and supporters are welcome at the Club during the duration of
the event. Please remember to sign the visitors book.
Club
House
The
Club House is normally open daily from 0900 - except Saturday
from1000 and Sunday from 1200. On Mondays the Club is closed although
the office is open until 1430.
Newspapers
and magazines are available in the Oak Room.
There
are the normal cloakroom and shower facilities which are free
to visitors.
Bar
and catering facilities.
Both
bar and a la carte meals are normally available at lunch time
and in the evening unless there is a special event taking place.

Normal
catering and bar hours are:
Tuesday
to Saturday 1130 to 1430 and 1730 to 2300.
Sunday
1200 to 1700 in the summer and 1200 to 1430 in the winter.
These
hours may be extended during major sailing events.
Car
Park
We
regret that the car park is available to Members only and is not
available to visitors. Visitors may unload gear at the Club but
should then park in the neighbouring streets. It is normally possible
to park within a few minutes walk of the Club.
Club
launch and dinghy-park.
The
club launch is available to visitors and their
dinghies can be berthed whilst they are using the Club. The Club
launch can be called on Ch. M1 or ch.37, call sign "club launch"
The
launch runs (Mon to Fri) 1015 to 1300 and 1400 to 1845. On Saturdays
and Sundays from 0915 to 1945 (1645 in April and October). The RCYC operates an honesty box system for non-members. The charge is £2 per round trip (there and back).
Visitors
Moorings.
The
Club does not have any moorings available for local or visiting yachts. Berthing is available by pre-booking with the local marinas and Yacht Haven.
