Sunday Club Walks

The last of the current programme of six monthly walks took place on April 27th.   A new programme is developing for later in the year.

All of the recent walks were between 4.0 and 4.5 miles and took around 2 hours. This allowed plenty of time to get back to the club for drinks and lunch at 1.0pm.  The programme has had walks starting at Constantine, Stithians, Mawnan Smith (2), Maenporth and Swanpool. 

The walks have been well supported with between 12 and 18 walkers most months.  Everyone is welcome including family and friends. The two hours just disappear without notice as there is so much chat, mainly about boats.

Pauline Heath, the organiser, will find new walks each month and will also walk them first to make sure that they are suitable for a group. The new programme of walks starts in October of this year, so please do think about coming along. Its FUN and GOOD for YOU. 

The dates for the Winter walks are essentially the last Sunday in each month. Specifically these dates are:

October 26th 2008

November 30th 2008

January 25th 2009

February 22nd 2009

March 29th 2009

April 26th 2009

The locations for these walks will be decided during the Summer and updates included on the website.
