Club Walk - April 27th 2008

The last of this programme of six walks took place on April 27th.

As the walk started dull and damp, the members on the walk abandoned boats in favour of the countryside. By the time the sun came out, it was too late to opt for the water!  In fact, we had glorious sunshine for three quarters of the walk. 

The start was Maenporth beach and then inland to take in Bareppa, Penwarne Barton, Tregedna and Rosemerryn Farms and then back to the beach, a distance of 4.5miles.  This is a lovely walk through woods and fields, and at this time of year there are plenty of spring flowers in bloom.
