Sunday Walk 27th April 2008

Maenporth Beach, Bareppa, Penwarne Barton, Rosemerryn Farm

4.5 miles

Meet at 10am in the beach car park (payment)

The walk starts along the ‘Fine and Brave’ path to Bareppa. From here, we go uphill across fields to Penwarne Barton then through the grounds to No Mans Land road. There is a short distance along the road before we take to the fields again, this time downhill towards Tregedna Farm. Crossing the stream, the path goes uphill to Rosemerryn Farm then downhill to the beach. There are approximately 10 stiles to negotiate and the ground should hopefully not be too wet. The walk should take about 2.25 hours giving plenty of time to get back to the Club for drinks and lunch at 1 pm.

If you are not able to walk, please come and join us for the après walk or alternatively just come for the walk. Everyone is welcome and if you wish to have lunch, please book with Susie.

Good walking boots and appropriate clothing are recommended.
