Racing at the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club
After the last Sailing Committee meeting and the discussion of the outcome of a protest hearing recently, the following clarification is made for Club racing competitors.
Club Racing
Will competitors please note that, for the pre-set courses in the Sailing Instructions, the third and fourth columns in the table under each group of courses are not part of the course instructions to competitors but only given in the table as an indicator of the course length and type of course to be sailed e.g. WL= windward/leeward. Competitors should only identify the course that is signalled to be sailed by the second column which details the marks to be rounded and on which hand it must be left (port or starboard).
This is not an amendment to the Sailing Instructions but clarification to avoid further misunderstanding.
Peter Collett
Hon Sailing Secretary
