What's new on the website

January 18 2010 - 2010 updates and archiving 2009

Some time has been spent on archiving the information from the website for 2009, although leaving it accessible to members should they wish to compare previous years to 2010. Although much of the racing calendar is yet to be approved, the paces are st up on the website for the various documents and future results. The same applies to the social and event sides of the Clubs' activities. Further updates will be added as they become available but if you spot a 'hangover' from previous years then tell me!! While not the biggest website by any stretch of the imagination there will be over 4000 pages here and I am sure that I will have missed some.

December 29th 2009 - Late Christmas greetings, early New Year wishes

Although the Club has been busy with various social activities, the reporting and photographing of these events leading up to Christmas has been light. Hence there has not been many updates to the website other than the Calendar changes. Hopefully this will get back to normal in the New Year.

In getting organised for setting up the site for 2010, I have found some stuff sent to me a while ago and have loaded this onto the site. The previous years 'stuff' will be placed in archived locations although still  available to you, our reader! With the changes occurring at the Club there will be a number of changes made to the website, and please bear with me as these occur. Indeed, if you spot something that is out of date then a quick email will add it to my extending list.

Finally, I hope that you had a good Christmas and wish you a very good and happy New Year for 2010.

October 22nd 2009 - Gallery updated (finally)

The calendar and future activities lists have been brought up to date for the next 3-4 weeks although they have broadly been updated weekly. The major addition this time is the updating of the gallery to include the pictures from the Dragon Championships, the various Meanderers meetings and a variety of other events that have occurred in the late summer.

In the very near future, the website will have a secure section added which will allow you to modify your contact details online and to make the various bookings for events that you want to attend. This secure facility will be only available to members but will allow the booking and payment of the future events including adding your details onto waiting lists and purchasing Club regalia and clothing online. Current plans will see this become available in stages over the next couple of months. This facility is based on the new membership and electronic point of sales systems that has been implemented during this year.
