April 17th 2008 - Quiz Night
The second Fun Quiz night compered by Nick Woodley was a very successful evening (not only because my team won...) but through the attendance, enthusiasm and the food. Every one appeared very positive and although the last Fin Quiz of the social season, I hope there will be others later in the year. Some pictures and a write up will be added to the website very soon.
April13th 2008 - Second Friday evening racing
Two race nights have completed successfully with a significant number of yachts racing for this early in the season. The results can be seen on the site under the Racing banner. Both nights have been very cold and last nights racing was a very windy experience especially for those yachts that set off for Maenporth on the pre-determined course. As one person commented after the race in the warmth of the Bar, "it took about 75 minutes to get to Maenporth and 10 to get back to the finish line!".
