LASER SB3 TRIAL WEEKEND

17th and 18th May 2008

ROYAL CORNWALL YACHT CLUB

Come for a trial sail in the most exciting and fastest growing keel boat around.

120 SB3 boats are already entered for the first World Championship this year and they are regularly the largest class at Cowes Week. Last August the King of Cowes event was held, sponsored by Volkswagon .

As well as great performance, the costs of sailing are kept down as the boat can be self-launched from her trailer on a slipway and towed behind a normal car.

Rob Paveley from Sail Laser is bringing a boat to Cornwall for trial sails on the weekend of 17/18 May 2008. Royal Cornwall Yacht Club have kindly agreed to be the base for this weekend. Rob may (or may not) arrive in time to make the boat available for a race at RCYC on Friday evening.

The main demonstrations will be on Saturday from 1030 am in 1 to 1.5 hour slots depending on demand. remember to allow time to get to the boat via the RCYC launch. There will be further slots on Sunday and maybe the chance to sail the boat in the St Mawes Sailing Club race if you can persuade Rob that you will buy a new Laser SB3

The event is open to members of RCYC and other PoFSA affiliate Clubs.
