12th April – Fitting Out Supper

More than forty people met up for this year’s Fitting Out Supper.  In the past this has been held on a Friday evening but the change to Saturday this year appeared to be popular with some new faces, a good turn out and the opportunity to sample what the new caterers have to offer.

Everyone looked to enjoy themselves and there was plenty of discussion about summer cruising grounds ranging from The Baltic to the Spanish Rias. Those not present but wanting to know where and when others will be cruising may email  rcyccruising@btconnect.com with a note of where they plan to go.

There was rolling slide show on the upper deck covering areas cruised by club members in the last couple of years, allowing ‘spot the location’ to be played. Some of the stunning locations and views may have whetted appetites to try pointing north instead of south this summer.
