Cruising at the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club
RCYC Bank Holiday Cruise to Fowey
- in conjunction with the RNSA Falmouth Cruising Group
This cruise will take place over the first May Day Bank holiday weekend. We will use a pontoon berth in Fowey for RCYC and RNSA boats for the Saturday and Sunday nights. Boats that wish to arrive earlier may of course do so but no pontoon reservations have been made - but that should not be a problem. Fowey will be nice and busy that weekend with both a COGS race and RWYC in port too. The following programme is planned:

Dinner at Fowey Gallants - Steak and Kidney Pie + Veg, and Pud = £12.50 each - veggie option available
Sign up with £2/crew member payable to the Club and a cheque for the meal payable to Fowey Gallants SC for each person dining. Sign up list will be closed at 1800 on Thursday 1st May
- No cheque, No meal!
- late bookings may be accepted depending on numbers - so plan ahead please and do not leave it to the last minute.
Action in the event of bad weather:
- There will be no bad weather - a NW F3/4 is booked for the whole weekend!
- Each skipper is responsible for the safe navigation of their own vessel
- In the event of bad weather or cancellation a cheque tear up will take place up to 0800 Friday morning. After that it will be whatever I can negotiate with the Club - you may end up paying.
