Welcome to the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club
The
Club has been at the centre of many sailing events in and around
Falmouth since1872. We welcome visitors from other Sailing Clubs. The Club has a very active Racing and Cruising calendar, with regular Friday evenings' racing in Carrick Roads. The range of yachts racing includes Sunbeams, Laser SB3 via many different racers and cruisers. During the sailing season but especially when the yachts are laid up, the Club members are very involved in the
extremely active Social calendar.
The Flag Officers lead the Club supported by the House Committee and other sub-Committees.

Many of our members
and their families have been with us for most of their lives
and enjoy the truly welcoming atmosphere and the Club's
Bar & Catering facilities. The membership ranges from the older retired member through to the younger yachtsmen and women that have joined the Club more recently. The common denominator is a love of sailing and yachts. We even have a few Motorboat skippers as well!
The Club has a history of racing as the Organising Authority of theAZAB Azores and Back race series every four years, and as the home of the Falmouth Sunbeam fleet amongst other more current fleets. We are full supporters of the COGS race Series and obviously the Henri-Lloyd Falmouth Week in August.
Our new bar and catering team is in place and providing good food at lunchtime and
ready to tempt you with many tasty meals for evening
dinner/supper, which can be taken in the candlelit dining
room or the main lounge or upper deck. The bar team has familiar faces as well as some new ones.
We have had some difficulties with email and this website recently. As a member, if you think that you are missing some communication, please call the Club or make contact via web@royalcornwallyachtclub.org.
